Teaching and Leadership


Professor: An adjunct professor for New York University and NYUonline, Cynthia L. Boyce developed and taught two courses, 1) Foundations of Conflict and Dispute Resolution and 2) Negotiations.           


Mediation: She was a coach for U. S. Postal Service (“USPS”), NASD/bankruptcy, Association of the Bar of the City of NY (2015) mediation training programs and a judge for the ABA Regional Representation in Mediation Competition (2016).


Arbitration:  She served as a presenter for the Practising Law Institute, the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) and the American Bar Association.


Negotiation:  She was a moderator for a Cornell University alumni association and trainer for the NBMBAA.


Committees:  She is a charter member of the mediation advisory panel for the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of NY.  She was an active member of New York County Lawyers’ Association (“NYCLA”) Committee on Alternative Dispute Resolution (“ADR”), the Arbitration Committee of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, and the Committee on ADR of the New York State Bar Association.  She served on the Executive Committee for the NYCLA Intellectual Property Committee.  Moreover, Cynthia was a member of the Board and was Program Chair for the Association for Conflict Resolution of Greater NY.
